Hydrant Flow Testing Services Includes
- Hydrant inspection
- Hydrant cap thread lubrication
- Hydrant flow rate documented within Hurco IMS software program
- Installation of NFPA 291 hydrant flow rings (when requested)
- Installation of hydrant out of service rings when needed
- Electronic copy of all hydrant flows
Valve Exercising Services Includes
- Valve cap removal and painting valve caps blue
- Valve well cleaning (When needed)
- Valve lubrication
- Valve exercising using state of the art equipment that counts the number of turns for each valve confirming adequate opening and GPS location
Hydrant Flushing Services Include
- GPS location of hydrant documented and data retained within Hurco IMS software program
- Record of the amount of water flowed per hydrant
- Flush until water turns clear based on 15 minutes of flushing otherwise T/M applies
Snow Removal
- Clear a path from the highway to the hydrant
- Clear a minimum of three feet around the hydrant per IFC
- Report any potential problems as seen during the snow removal process
Grass / Weed Trimming
- Trim a path from the highway to the hydrant
- Trim a minimum of three feet around the hydrant per IFC
- Report any potential problems as seen during the Grass / Weed Trimming process

- IMS Software, a complete package allowing data collection and GPS mapping of Hydrants and Valves
- Valve Exercising Equipment, a high-tech device with flexibility to monitor and control data which is transmitted back to IMS Software
- Self-Contained Vacuums, powerful valve well cleaning device to eliminate foreign debris and expose the top of valve stems
- Valve Lubrication Slick Stick Device, most effective way to control lubrication of valve stems
Our services help municipalities to setup a maintenance program / retain records documenting critical aspects of the water system. We reference required standards, such as, NFPA 291 for water districts and the fire service.
